It was Fani Halkia and Vanya Stambolova who attained new Meeting Records last year. In similar events, Halkia set a new Meeting Record in 400 m Hurdles while Stambolova set also a Record in 400m. The current year, two men repeated the same accomplishment: Luis Tsatoumas in long jump and Jadel Gregorio in triple jump.

Specifically, the Greek champion Luis Tsatoumas set 8.66m to long jump. The previous Meeting Record was attained by the Ukranian Volodymyr Zyuskov in 2003 (8.22 m).

In triple jump, Jadel Gregorio from Brazil placed 1st with 17.28m. The previous Meeting Record was 17.12m from 2005 (Momchil Karailiev, BUL).
